NHL — Regular Season Finale
Six games closed out the regular season. Every team heads into Saturday's playoffs knowing exactly where it stands.
Oilers 6, Canucks 1. Connor McDavid finished the regular season with 4 assists, reaching 138 points to clinch the NHL scoring title. Matt Savoie scored his 16th, 17th, and 18th goals of the year in the same game, earning first star honors. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins added a power play goal, his 20th of the season. Edmonton finishes 41-30-11 (93 points), second in the Pacific Division, and hosts a first-round series beginning Saturday. Vancouver ends at 25-49-8, last in the division.
Avalanche 2, Kraken 0. Colorado shuts out Seattle in the regular season closer.
Flames 3, Kings 1. Calgary beats Los Angeles in a Pacific finale.
Ducks 5, Predators 4. Anaheim takes a competitive one from Nashville.
Blues 5, Mammoth 3. St. Louis handles Utah.
Sharks 6, Jets 1. San Jose put six past Winnipeg in the highest-scoring game of the night.

Angels 11, Yankees 4. Jo Adell hit a grand slam in the eighth inning and finished with 4 RBI at Yankee Stadium. Yandy Peraza homered twice and drove in three runs. Mike Trout added a solo shot in the seventh. Max Fried took the loss (2-1), allowing 5 runs over 5.1 innings. The Angels won to split the four-game series 2-2.
