Meet Rosty — An AI Team Analyst Coming to Rosterlytic
A sneak peek at Rosty, our upcoming AI-powered assistant that will let coaches and captains ask questions about their team in plain English. Stats, attendance, standings, chemistry — just ask.
We built Rosterlytic to give captains and commissioners the tools that used to be reserved for pro sports. Real stats. Lineup chemistry. Attendance tracking. Standings that actually update.
But even with all that data at your fingertips, sometimes you just want to ask a quick question: Who's our top scorer? How's attendance been? Which line combos are actually winning us games?
We want to give you a faster way to get answers. So we're building one.
Meet Rosty — an AI team analyst coming soon to Rosterlytic.
What Rosty will be
Rosty will be an AI sports assistant built into the app. You'll tap his icon, ask a question in plain English, and get an answer pulled from your actual team data. No dashboards to dig through. No filters to set. Just ask.
He won't be a generic chatbot. Rosty will be connected directly to your team's stats, attendance records, game schedule, standings, and line chemistry. When he tells you your center has 12 goals in 8 games, that number comes straight from your season.
What you'll be able to ask
A few examples of the kinds of questions we're building Rosty to answer:
Player & team stats — "Who's our top scorer?" "How is Mike doing this season?" "What's our goal differential?"
Attendance — "Who's been missing games?" "Who showed up last game?"
Standings & schedule — "What's our record?" "When's our next game?"
Line chemistry — "Who plays well together?" "What's our best line?" "Which combos are winning?"
App help — "How do I add a player?" "Where do I set attendance?"
Built for trust, not tricks
We're designing Rosty carefully from the start:
- He'll only cite data he actually has. If a stat isn't in your team data, Rosty won't make it up — he'll tell you he doesn't have enough information to answer.
- He'll name the season. Every answer will include which season the data is from.
- He'll be team-scoped. Rosty will only see your team's data — never other teams or personal information.
- Privacy first. Before Rosty accesses any data, you'll see exactly what's being shared and opt in on your terms. You're always in control.
Who will get Rosty
Rosty will be a premium feature available to Team tier subscribers ($1.99/month) and above. Free-tier users will see Rosty in the app with a prompt to upgrade.
Why we're building this
No other sports league management app has anything like this. The future of sports team management isn't just about storing data — it's about making that data useful in the moment. When you're at practice deciding on lines for Thursday's game, you shouldn't have to dig through tabs and filters. You should be able to ask.
That's what Rosty is for.
Coming soon
Rosty is still in the oven, but he's getting close. When he's ready, he'll roll out in a Rosterlytic app update — if you're already on a Team plan or higher, you'll see him the moment the update lands.
