Team & League Branding: Logos, Colors, and Identity
Upload your team or league logo and set custom accent colors. Your branding appears across standings, schedules, game cards, and the web dashboard.
Your league has a name and a vibe. Now it can have a look too. Rosterlytic lets commissioners and captains upload logos and set custom accent colors that show up everywhere — standings, schedules, game cards, and the web dashboard.
League Branding (Commissioners)
From the league admin page on the web dashboard:
- Open your league and go to Admin
- Scroll to the Branding section
- Click Upload Logo to add your league's logo
- Pick a primary color and secondary color using the color picker or enter a hex code
- Click Save Settings
Your logo and colors will appear in league standings, schedules, and anywhere your league is displayed.
Logo Requirements
- Formats: PNG, JPEG, or WebP
- Size limit: 10MB before resize (images are automatically compressed to 256px)
- Moderation: Logos are checked automatically. Inappropriate images are rejected — you'll see a clear error message if that happens.
Tips for Great League Logos
- Use a transparent PNG if possible — it looks best on both light and dark backgrounds
- Keep it simple — the logo displays at small sizes (24-48px), so avoid tiny details
- Square or round logos work best — very wide or tall logos may get cropped
Team Branding (Captains)
From the Rosterlytic app or web dashboard:
- Go to your team's Settings page
- Scroll to the Branding section
- Upload your team logo and pick your colors
- Save — your branding takes effect immediately
Where Branding Appears
Your logo and colors show up across the app automatically:
- Games screen app bar — your team logo next to the team name
- Welcome screen — each team card shows its logo
- Hero card — when playing a league game, the opponent's logo replaces the generic sport icon
- League standings — team colors accent the standings table
- Web dashboard — colors theme the sidebar and team pages
- Public embeds — if your league uses embeddable widgets, branding carries through
Clearing Branding
You can remove your logo and reset colors at any time:
- Commissioners: Open admin settings and click Clear Branding in the branding section
- Captains: Open team settings and clear the branding section
When a team has no custom logo, a sport-specific icon is shown as a fallback (hockey sticks for hockey, a basketball for basketball, etc.).
Availability
Team and league branding is available on all tiers — including the free tier. Every team and league can upload a logo and set custom colors at no cost.
Try this in the app. Core features are free, no credit card.
